Introducing The RSS Recycled Rubber Base

Developed by and exclusive to RSS, Recycled Rubber Base, is a ground reinforcement system binder base which utilises stone and recycled granulated rubber car tyres.

The trouble with tyres in landfill is that they leach toxins into soil and water. In tropical countries they fill with water and become a paradise for breeding mosquitoes, making them a serious health risk

On an average 40m2 driveway using the RSS Recycle Rubber Base more than 200 waste vehicle tyres are used.

Our Subs Compliant Recycle Rubber Base can drain up to 25 litres of surface water per metre to mitigate the impact of urban flooding.

Why Use Recycled Rubber Base?

  • SUDS Compliant.

  • Recycled Product.

  • Gives extra flexibility compared to other systems like tarmac or concrete for ground movement.
