Resin Patio - Tewin, Hertfordshire
On completion of constructing their new build home, owners Jack & Natalie gave us the brief to install a smart resin patio that would seamlessly link the inside of their home to the garden through the huge opening afforded to them from bi-folding doors, creating a space that they could use for entertaining in the summer months.
For an entertaining space such as this, a resin patio is a great choice as its resistant to oil and spillages that you may encounter during your summer BBQ'ing season.
The split level feature of the resin patio worked well to create the feeling of an extension of the internal space and they were pleased with our recommendation to make use of black edging, as this tied in nicely with the door and window frames of the house and helped to accentuate the crisp lines of the resin patio. The ever popular "Golden Quartz" in 2-5mm was used for this project, which was a good match with the beautiful lime washed oak timber flooring inside.
We will be back to Tewin soon as the owners were so pleased that they have commissioned us to design and install some resin paths around their garden.
